On the day of the transfer deadline, Rangers attempted to acquire a new winger but were unsuccessful.
Rangers have reportedly confirmed talks with a “unnamed” winger ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline, according to Heart & Hand broadcaster David Edgar.
According to the podcast presenter, the selling club was unable to identify a suitable replacement before the window closed, hence the deal could not be completed. After that, David Edgar said that Rangers might be playing it cool with the transfer rumor because they still have summer interest in the player.
